A recent "ouch" at the bank reminded me of two people who gave me some really weird excuses about why they can't write.

When you think about it, writing is pretty darn cheap. There's no wardrobe to buy, no inventory to stock, and most of us own or have access to computers.

If you're not writing because it simply isn't a priority for you, then that's your reason, plain and simple. Not the expense! If need be, we can write on bar napkins with crayon stubs! But let's hope it never comes to that.
